Lambda
Sigma Gamma, Kappa Chapter was
founded on the San Diego State
campus on April 24, 1994. Twenty
women purposely sought out to
find an organization that would
be accepting, respected, and
different from what our campus
already had to offer. Seeing
there was a need for an organization
that would value the traditions
and visions of a sisterhood
that could surpass our college
experience, they joined together
and successfully founded the
10th chapter of Lambda Sigma
Gamma, Inc. Our Chapter has
become one of the most important
factors in the lives of the
141 women that have become members
here at SDSU. Over the 14 years
of our existence, Kappa Chapter
has contributed time, effort,
and passion to SDSU and to the
San Diego State community. Through
our community service, workshops,
food drives, toy drives, and
our many other events - we provide
leadership for our members and
services for our community.
As an organization, we try to
create within us role models,
leaders, and respected members
of our community.
