Arianna Yvette Jaime was born on Christmas night at 11:23pm. She weighed 7 lbs. , 3 oz. and measured 21.5 inches. Congrat's Sister! 11.27.2006 Kappa Chapter featured in Daily Aztec School Newspaper! Lambda Sigma Gamma sorority is holding its annual Thanksgiving food drive for needy families in the local California Head Start program in the Del Colinas community through today. Psychology senior and Lambda Sigma Gamma Vice President Nicole Watson said they will be donating Thanksgiving food baskets to about 40 to 45 families - the largest number of families they have donated to. Watson also said the sorority has been trying to raise money to buy turkeys for the families. She said the sorority held food drives and fundraisers at Ralph's grocery store in Hillcrest. People from the community donated canned food and money, including a $100 donation from Michael's Printing Co. "I think (the drive) is important," Watson said. "Many families don't have the money to have Thanksgiving (dinner) and they go to the local fast food restaurant instead.
